We’re working with our friend Terry Jones again, alongisde Bill and Ben Productions. This time the project is all about world economics and the financial crisis.
We are very interested to see what the talented kingston’ers have produced for this years degree show, especially as we commissioned a lot of Kingston graduates to work for us when creating ‘A Liar’s Autobiography.’ Starting this Friday Kingston students will be showcasing a mixture of; product and furniture design, graphic design and of course illustration and animation, at various spots around London.
We were invited to present how exactly we made the film ‘A Lair’s Autobiography’ at the 3D Creative Summit at the BFI Southbank, London. One of the films directors Ben Timlett and Made Visual Studios Justin Weyers explained the real behind the scenes of how it was all made detailing workflow to distribution and problems in between. We were rather different to other presentations at the event from David Attenborough to Ang Lee, Dreamworks to the Hobbit everyone who means something in the 3D world was there and of course us 🙂 We felt very honoured.
Justin has returned from Anifilm 04 in Třeboň, Czech Republic where our film ‘A Liar’s Autobiography’ was shown at the festival. Was such a lovely little village and a beautiful place for a festival. Met some amazing animators and tasted some superb local beers. We did two screenings both sold out and made our way onto national Czech TV and Justin also made his way on the dance floor as normal.
